Bende

Bende are one of the worlds leading manufacturers of dog training equipment and in conjunction with professional trainers, handlers, breeders and dog sport enthusiasts, they have created a range of products with the express purpose of aiding better results, for professional dog handlers or in the sporting field.
Bende products are sold throughout the world, we were commissioned to produced an online shop which would be used to sell Bende products throughout the UK. We worked with Mark Jackson to put together a design which combined the Bende branding with Marks ideals on online shopping. Once we had produced design which meet both of these and all party’s were happy we began development of his online shop.
We produced the shop using Magento, creating a theme to match the design which we had created. We combined design with functionality producing a shop with a host of features including:
Category based shop
The main functionality of this site is the ability to sell online, we produced the shop with the main navigation being via category’s which we set up in a side column on the main shopping pages.
Advanced search options
Allowing the customer to search under multiple constraints including by price, name or description.
Newsletter
Weincluded a newsletter sign up option in the footer allowing Mark to build up a mailing list to inform customers of new and exciting news.
User accounts
User account options were set up giving customers the ability to register with Bende. Users are given a variety of options including a wish list and a place to update their details if they change.
Top Products
We produced a top products section for the front page allow Mark to use his admin panel to select the products which he wanted to display in this section on the front page.
Static pages
We also produced static pages for Mark to include information about his company and give details on how to place orders etc.
Add This
No matter how good a site is its important that it has a high online viability in its sector, we always use search engine friendly packages when developing websites packages such as Magento, Vbulletin and WordPress. Giving each website we produce a great starting point, we also included Add This on the Bende website, Add This is a great social networking tool giving the user the ability to easily and simply share content across the internet.
Mark is currently stocking his shop and making the final arrangements to bring Bende to the UK, check back soon to view this e-commerce solution in action.
